Beachli Cottage

This cottage charmer is warm and welcoming and great for your family or group of friends.  Nestled in on one acre of property along the Gull River, this quiet river location offers plenty of privacy and enjoys the picturesque beauty of the calm waters and the tree'd landscape along 400 feet of waters edge.

The Beachli cottage is a 4 bedroom, two full bathroom home on the famous picturesque Gull River.  Beachli is a 2200 sq ft all season home which has been fully renovated as of June 2023.  The entire cottage inside is brand new and has been designed and styled to offer an updated look to the original rustic feel of a cottage while offering all the conveniences of home, such as air conditioning, modern appliances, comfortable furnishings in all rooms including bedrooms.

The very functional floor plan allows for communal living with an open area kitchen/living/dining space along the river front of the cottage which is filled with natural light coming in from the oversized windows which offer full river views from each room.

The quiet location on the river see's very little boat traffic and is the ideal location to enjoy the calm waters of the gull river with few interruptions.  It is the ideal location to paddle board, paddle boat or kayak.  If you have  your own power boat, we are only 200 meters from the boat launch access at Elliott's falls.  From our river location you can enjoy all the river and the joining lakes, Moore and East Moore, have to offer.

Only a 2 hour drive from Toronto and a short driveway off of Hwy 35, the Beachli cottage is located only 5 mins from Norland, which has a convenience store, gas station, foodmart and lcbo agent and only 10 mins from Coboconk, which has a full Foodland grocery store, Home Hardware, Beer Store, LCBO and Tim Hortons.  This location offers the feeling of being away from it all while actually not being too far.  No worries if you forget something, chances are you can get it in town.

Booking Details & House Notes

To make the most of our short summer season in July and August—and to ensure a smooth, high-quality guest experience—we accept 7-night bookings from Friday to Friday during this period. If you’re interested in a stay of 10 nights or longer, please send us a message with your requested dates and we’ll be happy to discuss availability.

Linens & Towels
Bed linens and bath towels are not included by default. However, we’re happy to offer a linen and towel package for your convenience. This includes freshly made beds with white linens, plus bath and beach towels, at $40 per bedroom, upon request.
Included regardless are bedspreads, four pillows per bed, hand towels, bath mats, kitchen towels, and dishcloths.

Comfort & Climate
For warm summer nights, the cottage is fully air-conditioned and also heated by an efficient heat pump, with the added comfort of a gas fireplace for cooler evenings.

Please note: tap water is filtered and UV-treated but not recommended for drinking—the water cooler is provided for your convenience.

Garbage & Recycling
Weekly city garbage pickup occurs on Mondays. Guests may also take waste to the local dump or home. If leaving waste behind, it must be sorted properly, or the city will not collect it. Detailed instructions will be sent prior to arrival.
